I play with make up and take pictures of my face.
I got into make up when I decided I wanted to do my own make up for my wedding. I knew what I wanted it to look like, but didn’t know how exactly to make it happen. So I did a lot of research and drew a lot of crooked cat eyes until I got it down. A few months later, I got sick of doing the same thing over and over and starting buying more colors.
Shortly after that I discovered indies and their super cheap sample baggies. For a dollar a piece (give or take) I could try all the colors! I mostly buy whole collections of samples at a time, and I love when collections are built around geeky themes, even when it’s something I’m not into (yet).
As much as I love swatches, I find it super useful to see how make up looks on actual people’s faces, so I started taking pictures of the looks I came up with, and now I’m sharing them with you.
